Gratitude Journal Prompts
Take a moment to reflect on what you feel gratitude for. Here are some journal prompts to help guide you! What do I appreciate about myself? Who are people in my life I need to thank? Who are three people in my life I am grateful for? In what ways have I grown in the past year? What eases anxiety for me? What is a skill I'm grateful to possess? What aspect of the holidays am I most excited for? Don't forget, you can use Prosper's journaling feature to reflect on these prompts and track how gratitude shifts your mood over time!
Create a Gratitude Jar
Write down what you are grateful for on slips of paper and put them in a jar. Think of people in your life you're grateful for, things about yourself, and basically anything that you appreciate. This can be the beautiful sunset, the hug from your friend, or the yummy food you had for dinner. Whenever something you're grateful pops into your head add it to the jar. When you have a down day and things just aren't going your way, pull from your gratitude jar. This practice will allow you to think positively amidst the stresses in life. It will serve as a reminder that you have the strength to get through the hard days and that there is so much positive in life. Have fun decorating your jar with ribbon and stickers.
